Famous artist Lanmei Cheng established Lanphoon Art Center in 1979 at Tainan City of Taiwan Province. It is devoted to the development of Contemporary oil painting and art education. In the mean time, it also march towards international art platform.

HQ of Lanphoon Art Center move to Shanghai in November of 2004. In August of 2014, Lanphoon set up Art and Living Club in Pudong New Area of Shanghai. Its primary purpose is to spread and raise the art level of the society，improve the knowledge and the interest towards the paintings for normal people。 The final goal is to make everyday life more artistic and merge art into normal life of people。
